Our family
At Sagnapicu, in a remote corner of the Sicilian hinterland between the provinces of Palermo and Agrigento, time moves slowly.
A place where olive trees, vineyards and fields grow in silence, cradled by the warm wind and strong sun of Sicily, far from the noise of the world.
A place nourished by affection for a fertile land and love for its memories.
This is why we chose organic: every product we make must tell the story of the purity and authenticity of the land that gave it life — our land.

Dad Piero took grandfather Vincenzo's legacy into his hands and turned it into something great. With enthusiasm, hard work, and all the love one can have for one's roots, he expanded the family land and built a proper farm, capable of making the most of every corner of that generous soil — from olive oil to wine, all the way to the produce of the land.
Today, Piero is not alone.
By his side there is Vincenzo, who has chosen to continue this family adventure.
Together, they lead Azienda Sparacino, among the rows of olive trees and vineyards, under the warm sun of Sicily.
Mamma Maria Concetta is a quiet yet invaluable presence; when the land calls, she is always there, ready to roll up her sleeves.
Laura is the link between this corner of Sicily and the rest of the world: she looks after communications and digital presence, because such a beautiful story deserves to be told.
Uncle Vincenzo is a valuable pillar of support, always there when strong, tireless hands are needed.
Aunt Enza is the family’s storyteller; she is the one whose voice transforms the toil of the harvest into a memory, a sense of belonging.
The link to the outside world is provided by Antonio, who nurtures and builds relationships with buyers across the border, and uncle Santino, who over time has forged precious bonds with customers who are now almost like family.
